Morgan White RDN
All foods fit. Kicking ass at internship matches. Star Wars.
My senior year at university I found out on my own that I needed to land myself a dietician internship. I applied to an internship frantically as the end of the year was arriving with little to no help from my professors. Announcement rounds came and my heart raced as I scrolled hoping to see my name posted on the results only to find nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. I didn’t make it. It wasn’t until I had graduated, obtained a certificate in obesity management in adolescents, and overtook the food and beverage program during my marching time with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps that I was again not matched with an internship. Yep, you read right.
Fast forward to today, I’m an RDN with the VA and run my successful DI coaching business with three failed attempts at being matched for an internship, a master’s degree, and a happy little family too.
BONUS ROUND: I currently sit on the executive board for the Komplete Business Dietetic Internship to help further my assistance in DI students’ journeys.
